Everest Base Camp Budget trip is for you who want to do somehow cheap but the route is same Everest Base Camp. All the hotel and restaurant for accommodation and meals are the same as Everest Base Camp trek. However, the trek does not include the meals. The trip begins after the scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m). The distance of Everest Base Camp from Lukla is 65km. Lukla is a town of small market and lodges. After the short tea break journey turns off to Phakding (2610m), a bit lower altitude at the bank of Dudhkoshi river.
